EPCOT Food & Wine Festival is happening now thru November 23, 2024.
October Crowds: Low/Moderate. Busier on weekends.
Weather: Low/Mid 80s. Late October is a good time to visit!
EPCOT closes at 5 pm on Oct. 22 for a private event. Plan accordingly.
PLAN ahead: Avoid “Jersey Week/Veteran’s Day weekend”, crowds will be very High! Nov 4 to 11. Thanksgiving Week will see Massive Crowds: Nov 27 to Nov 30 (especially crazy)! I like November weather. High 70s/80s. Humidity starts to drop.

Yacht & Beach Club Resorts: Storm-a-long Bay & Shipwreck Pool: Closed Jan 2025 thru May 2025
Big Thunder Mountain: Closing on January 6th, 2025, until 2026!
Test Track: Closed. Reopens 2025 after Re-imagineering.
TriceraTop Spin is permanently closing Jan. 13th, 2025.
Voyage of Little Mermaid (Hollywood Studios): Closed. NEW show The Little Mermaid- A Musical Adventure coming summer 2025.
Lightning McQueen Racing Academy: Permanently Closed. A NEW Villains Show will replace it, with expected opening in summer 2025.
Dinosaur: Permanently Closing (no date given) possibly 2025 to make way for NEW Indiana Jones attraction.
Tom Sawyer Island and Rivers of America/Ferryboat: Permanently Closing (no date given, possibly 2025-2026) to make way for new Cars-themed attractions in Frontierland.
Blizzard Beach Water Park: Closed, reopens November 4, 2024. Typhoon Lagoon closes November 3rd.
Port Orleans French Quarter Resort: Some buildings will be under construction: so, availability will be limited at this small resort. Rooms are receiving a BIG refurbishment. Full Completion goal by end 2024.
Wilderness Lodge: Exterior Refurbishment, ongoing through December 2026.
Yacht Club Resort: Room Refurbishment, January 2025 to May 2025.

DISNEYLAND

The Holiday Season Arrives at Disneyland Resort November 15!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens at Disneyland on November 15, 2024.
Chip and Dale’s Ornament Trail pursuit will debut at Downtown Disney District, where guests can search for special ornaments hidden among the holiday trees and shining lights adorning the district. (From November 22, 2024, to January 1, 2025)
Beginning November 19, “Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates the Holidays!” will delight guests at Disneyland Hotel. NEW Mickey’s Holiday Pajama Party breakfast and brunch at Storytellers Cafe at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will serve holiday-themed meals, accompanied by seasonal décor and select characters donning new pajamas.
All three Hotels of the Disneyland Resort will feature festive fun, including a massive gingerbread house inspired by pastries and candies on display at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and all-new décor at Pixar Place Hotel.
Holiday-themed Food, Drinks and Merchandise
“Believe…In Holiday Magic” nighttime spectacular, which will perform nightly at Disneyland! Santa will stop for photos at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in Disney California Adventure park, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Disneyland Hotel and Pixar Place Hotel through December 24. Don’t’ miss “A Christmas Fantasy Parade” at Disneyland park!
In Disney California Adventure: “World of Color – Season of Light” is a must watch!
Select attractions will receive seasonal overlays: “it’s a small world” Holiday, Haunted Mansion Holiday in Disneyland park. Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure park.

THE CANDLELIGHT PROCESSIONAL

The beloved show tells the story of Christmas through a stunning performance, featuring a celebrity narrator, a mass choir of Disney cast members and young singers from the community, a 50-piece orchestra, herald trumpets, and the incredible Voices of Liberty. Showtimes this year have adjusted to 5:00 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. Consider booking a Dining Package. Get guaranteed seating at 1 of 3 shows.
